The Verrazano Narrows Bridge. I live about 10 mins from the bridge and the Shore parkway greenway has become my regular bike path. Last Saturday I had bought a bungee net for my bike to transport my camera bag (my experimentation of carrying my backpack on shoulders during the DC trip gave me sore shoulders for a week). The $8 net did wonders to carrying my ThinkTank retrospective camera bag and my lee filters. I also biked close to 21 miles on bone jarring Brooklyn roads and the net held up brilliantly. I was also more prepared for the trip this time as I carried more water and better clothing and the trip was much better than the DC trip. So yeah I think I am getting the hang of it.

The shot was composed just east of the bridge and I wanted the light trails from the road to lead in to the picture, so this location was perfect. All I had to do was to wait till the sun lit up the sky perfectly and snap away. I made a makeshift reverse ND grad filter with two LEE ND grads and loved this capture.
