The unique and incomparable Suilven, as seen fron Stac Pollaidh.

Cul Mor and Cul Beag as seen from the slopes of Stac Pollaidh. The sun was getting low in the sky, the weather was changeable and it was getting colder. ...but when the scenery is this good there are few places I would rather be.

Looking north from the slopes of Stac Pollaidh across the other-worldly terrain of Assynt. Centre stage is the iconic mountain Suilven, rearing up from the surrounding bogs, lakes and low mounds. To the right of Suilven is Canisp, and at the right edge of the image is Cul Mor with it's head in the clouds.
