The Snowroad (Snøveien) runs over the mountains from Laerdal to Aurland, both towns on the shores of the Sognefjord. The quickest way to get from one to the other is the 24 km tunnel, but of course this narrow, mountain road is a much more scenic option. The photo was taken on July 21st and there was still this much snow there.
