This park features 15 miles of hiking and riding trails through a variety of forested areas including redwoods, mixed evergreens, riparian, Ponderosa pine, as well as rare ancient marine deposits called Santa Cruz sand hills. We took this shot while visiting the Henry Cowell state park en route to the natural bridges state park in Santa Cruz. This is an awesome location to see some old growth Redwoods and spend some time on a leisurely hike traversing the simple trail through the state park exploring the amazing tall giants around here.
This is an HDR capture using HDR Efex pro 2 for the first time and I am liking the results a lot much better than the software I used previously. Enjoy and hope all had a great Thanksgiving!!
